Our Philosophy

The club.

We chose the name Maestro & Hunter because it perfectly describes the essence of the club's philosophy.

A Maestro is a player who's able to dictate the tempo of the game with decision making and techniques such as dribbling and passing, whilst a Hunter is a term used to describe a player that can be aggressive, anticipate and be quick on the transition.

The combination of these attributes contribute to developing the ideal player, and team.

We think of players such as Messi or Maradona as our attacking role models because of their aggressive dribbling style allowing them to be very creative and threatening and Kanté or Beckenbauer as our defensive role models because of their anticipation abilities, whilst also being very creative from those positions.

Team Philosophy

A Maestro centric style, aggressive on transition, use pace and space to our advantage, very encouraging of dribbling. We focus heavily on the attacking approach.

Strengthening the spirit of local families.
Play Together, Stay Together.

How sessions work.

Are players are separated by age, each phase has age specific training requirements appropriate for maximum learning and skill development.

We want each player to love the game, taking their time to get to grips with the rules and technical skills.

We understand that everyone is unique so we take a person-centred approach, recognising that each player will develop at their own pace.

If you feel your child has any additional learning or behavioural needs then please get in touch with our head coach Marc
